A wall of river rocks bends to from banquettes that wrap around the room, only the rocks are gold-vinyl and 100 times normal size.  Elsewhere, jewelry boxes with glas facades frame eye-catching, gyrating women....more of whom appear from behind red velvet curtains on stages above the dance floor.  Is this a dream?  Actually, it's Dream: the new club on Washington Avenue in the space formerly known as Amica. 

The pebbled, gold-vinyl room is known as the Nugget Room.  The dancers appear between midnight and 1am and the vibe is all about dreams coming true.  Yes, the VIP tables are ample enough to contain the friends you arrive with and the ones you meet.  Yes, the sound system is flexible, so the upstairs room (black, white, silver and shiny all over) can hold one party and the downstairs another, or the two can be blended into one open format, hip-hop or reggae grind.  Yes, the upstairs has its own DJ Booth, bathrooms, and bar so it's perfect to rent out for a function.  The decor looks as good in the day as it does at night (great for private or even corporate events).  Can you say the same about the person you picked up at last call?  Alas, that's but a dream.
